Clos Uroulat

Clos Uroulat, located in Monein in Jurançon, South-West France, has been owned by Charles Hours since 1983 and has since become a benchmark for the region.

With around 16 hectares of vineyards, planted mainly with Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, the estate is rooted on sunny slopes with marl-clay soils and benefits from the warm Föhn climate.

Charles and his daughter Marie create both dry Jurançon Sec and richly sweet Jurançon, balancing expressive fruit, refined minerality, and aromatic depth.

Among the best-known cuvées are the classic “Uroulat” and the dry “Marie”, each a pure expression of its terroir.
