Domaine des Soulanes

Domaine des Soulanes is an organic wine estate from Tautavel, in Maury, founded in 2002 by Cathy and Daniel Laffite.

The domaine lies on south- to south-west-facing slopes surrounded by garrigue, offering excellent exposure and natural ventilation.

The vineyards, covering around 18 hectares, grow on steep soils of schist, limestone, and clay, ideal for Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, and Mourvèdre.

Their wines, including the powerful red Maury, are characteristically energetic, intense, and balanced. Widely appreciated cuvées include the saline-mineral “Les Salines”: wines with purity, depth, and a strong regional character.
