Wine estate
Franco M. Martinetti is a leading figure in the international gastronomic world: a true gentleman of the old school, equally at ease among the rows of Piedmont vineyards as he is with the most prestigious chefs.
His professional career did not begin in the world of wine, but in advertising. At the same time, he deepened his passion for gastronomy and began producing wine in 1974. Since then, his career, like his wines, has been marked by success and international recognition. He is the only Italian member of the Académie du Vin de France and has been president of the Académie Internationale du Vin since 2003.
Franco Martinetti follows an approach to wine that he has refined over the years with patience, knowledge, and precision.
It begins with the choice of the ideal plot, based on soil, exposure, and the age of the vines. In the vineyard, pruning and green harvesting are then carefully monitored, and the harvest date is determined.
The grapes are carefully selected, after which the timing of fermentation, oak ageing, and bottle maturation is precisely defined. Every step is followed with the utmost care, because every detail is essential for those striving for perfection.
