Wine estate
Château Simone, located in Meyreuil (Provence), has been owned by the Rougier family since 1830. The historic 23-hectare estate lies on the northern slopes of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire. In 1948, it became the first estate to receive the AOC Palette designation, thanks to its unique terroir and microclimate.
The vineyards, often planted with very old vines, sit on limestone-rich soils and benefit from slow ripening, which results in remarkable complexity. The wines are traditionally vinified, with hand harvesting, natural yeasts, and long ageing in foudres and barriques.
Château Simone is known for its elegance, finesse, pure expression of terroir, and great ageing potential.
